36 Days To Go!

This is definitely one of those classic storybook love stories. You know, the kind that starts on Facebook. Nick was scrolling one day, saw a picture of Erica, and was like "okay.. she's cute". No big dramatic moment. He just messaged her on Snapchat and hoped for the best.

They started talking and the conversation just felt different. It wasn't dry small talk. She actually wanted to know about him, asked real questions, and he didn't feel like he was carrying the whole thing. He remembers thinking he really liked her.

A few weeks later, they decided to go for a drive together. Nick did NOT dress to impress. He showed up looking like a straight up streel; his dad's old MUN shirt and sweatpants with a hole in the knee. Not exactly first date material.

But somehow that didn't scare Erica off. She still wanted to see him again. That was kind of the moment where it became clear that they had something special.

From there, things just grew naturally. Nothing felt forced. They just kept choosing each other. Before long, they weren’t just dating — they were building a life together.

They have two dogs together, Ellie and Sam, who basically run their lives in the best possible way. Walks, treats, chaos and unconditional love- the whole package. Those dogs didn't just become pets, they became their family.

Then they built a house together. And on the trail behind that house is where the next big moment happened.

Nick set up a box with Erica’s name on it at the end of the trail, right in the middle of a heart made out of rocks. Inside was a bandana for the dogs that said, “Will you marry our dad?”

When Erica turned around, Nick was already on one knee — extremely nervous and barely getting the words out. He was stuttering, the dogs started barking and wrestling like it was playtime, and the whole thing was slightly chaotic. But it was perfectly them.

And through all that noise, nerves, and dog drama, she still said yes.

This brings us to their next adventure, their wedding day. And they are so happy to be able to share it with you!
