We met in high school due to sharing some friends. Then we did theater teching for almost all of senior year together getting to know each other as friends. Then a month before we graduated in 2018 we went on our first date.
We dated for the summer before he went off to college which began the long distance part of our relationship. For about a year and a half we dated long distance and only saw each other a little bit.
When Jarod came back we had a couple months of normal dating and then the pandemic hit. The long distance relationship had helped us prepare for it luckily. So yet again for the next year it was back to minimal in person dates.
As the pandemic lifted and we both got full time jobs we started discussing moving out together, and in November of 2022 we did.
Life was fairly uneventful for a while, then
We went on our first big trip together to Yellowstone in September 2024.
Meanwhile we decided to move again, into the house we are at now. In November 2024.
Finally on December 31st 2024 Jarod proposed.
Now here we are planning a wedding.
