Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU) is about 30 minutes from the venue and 20-35 minutes from the hotels we recommend.

There are several hotels in Chapel Hill, but due to a home UNC football game, we recommend staying near Durham for more reasonable rates. We highly recommend booking early, as there is a lot going on that weekend in the area. Please see the Travel tab for a few hotel recommendations.

Whatever makes you feel amazing! Need an excuse to wear that dress you love? You got it! Don't want to buy something special for the event? Khakis and a button down shirt work too! Check the weather that week and wear what's comfortable. Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside in the early evening and reception will be indoors. All areas connecting the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are paved and easily accessible.

Once you arrive at Lavender Oaks Farm, there will be signs that direct you to the venue's visitor parking. The visitor parking lot is quite large and well-lit. You're welcome to leave your car overnight and take a rideshare (Uber, Lyft) back your hotel, if necessary. There is no charge to leave your car overnight. There is a short walk over gravel from the parking lot, so you may want to drop off anyone in heels or those who need assistance.

Absolutely! You will be able to RSVP for both you and your children on the website. There will be a dedicated children's menu for the event as well; we'll reach out to you closer to the date about kids' dinner options.

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. There is a home UNC football game that day as well, so there may be more traffic/people utilizing rideshares than normal. Please give yourself enough travel time so that you don't feel rushed.

The reception will end at 9:00 PM.
