We kindly request an unplugged ceremony, free from phones and cameras. We would like our special day to be an adult-only occasion, however we would like to open the invite up to your children at the evening reception at 5pm.

Sometimes love doesn't just burst through the door-- it quietly walks in, sits besides you, and slowly becomes your whole world. That's how it happened for Ericka and David.

They met through mutual friends and started out as just that—friends. Two people trying to get through life, navigating their own paths while finding comfort in each other’s presence. They talked, they laughed, they leaned on each other. But somewhere in the midst of those everyday conversations, something shifted. A spark began to glow—subtle at first, but impossible to ignore. What they had was more than friendship. It was connection. Chemistry. Fate.

From our first ice cream date to the chaos and joy of raising our four beautiful kids, every moment has been part of our love story. One we’re still writing—together.

For Ericka, that moment became crystal clear when she watched David with her oldest son. There was something about the way he showed up—nurturing, patient, gentle. She saw a side of him that wasn’t just kind; it was real. And paired with how handsome he was, her heart didn’t stand a chance.

Their first date was at an ice cream shop, sweet in every way. They talked for hours, laughed like teenagers, and soaked up every second of each other. It wasn’t just dessert—it was the beginning of everything. They were scared to admit what was happening between them. Falling in love felt dangerous. Vulnerable. But it was inevitable. Even when life pulled them apart, love always found a way to bring them back.

In 2024, their daughter Maribelle arrived, completing their beautiful family of four.

With two bonus children from previous relationships, they became something even greater: a blended family built not just on blood, but on heart, patience, and unconditional love. Every child is embraced. Every moment cherished.

In March 2024, David got down on one knee—and their forever became official. What started as a friendship, blossomed into a once-in-a-lifetime love story. A bond so strong, even time couldn’t weaken it. A love that grew from laughter, through challenges, into something real. Something lasting.

What I love most about David is everything he is—without even trying. He’s a provider, a protector, and the kind of man who puts his whole heart into the people he loves. He works hard, not for recognition, but because it’s who he is. He shows up—always. Whether it’s a long day, a small moment, or a quiet struggle, he’s there, no hesitation. And in a world that’s often chaotic and uncertain, his presence is my peace. He doesn’t need grand gestures to prove his love. It’s in the way he takes care of us without complaint. The way he makes sure the kids feel safe and seen. The way he holds me when I’m overwhelmed and makes me laugh when I need it most. His love is calm, consistent, and real. It’s not loud, but it’s powerful. It holds everything together—even when life tries to pull us apart.

No one has ever been able to pick my brain the way she does—with just a glance. She is my mirror and my mystery. My calm and my chaos. My reason and my refuge. Now here we are—engaged, building a life that feels like ours in every sense of the word. And when I think about our future, I see it so clearly: A little farmhouse in the country, the sounds of our kids’ laughter echoing through the fields, chickens running wild, goats being troublemakers, cows grazing peacefully—and the two of us, hands dirty, hearts full, still choosing each other every single day. This love? It’s real. It’s messy. It’s magic. And it’s ours.
