Ellie is Jens' sister and closest friend. She is hands down one of the most supportive and caring people I know and is a joy to be around, even when she forces me to share my food with her at restaurants. Along with Erik, Ellie is the person I am most able to be my authentic self around. She can make me laugh until I cry, and she always has the right advice or encouragement when I need support. I look up to Ellie in so many ways and am grateful she is such a big part of my life, and that her and Tate now only live 7.4 miles away.

Some have said that one of life's greatest mysteries may be how Whitney and Erik actually became friends. While there is no doubt their friendship started in Luther College's hallowed Brandt Hall serving as RAs, the moment the friendship was forged is still shrouded in uncertainty. What is beyond doubt is that Whitney has been the greatest friend a guy could have. I mean, how many friends would be willing to drop everything and meet you in the garden ready to help till an entire plot, armed with a chilled bottle of rosé, half a dozen oysters, and enough stories to fill an entire afternoon? I am super grateful to Whit for the laughs, the company, the mischief, and for always being there as a friend.

We are so honored that one of our best friends is officiating our wedding! Taylor is enthusiastic, effervescent, kind, thoughtful, hilarious, and an all-around amazing person who we are lucky to know. Taylor has been there since the start of our relationship and has been a significant part of many of our favorite memories: camping & cabin trips up north, shenanigans in St. Paul and Hudson, and adventures in New England!
