We are getting married at Venue 1902 at Preservation Hall in Sanford, FL (approximately 20-30 minutes outside of East Orlando); 301 W 7th Street- Sanford, FL 32771. We have reserved the entire venue for our wedding. Venue 1902 at Preservation Hall is a historic schoolhouse that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Venue 1902 was once the Sanford Grammar School, and also formerly the Sanford High School and the Margaret K. Reynolds Building. It was erected in, you guessed it, 1902! We love the unique charm and sophistication that this venue has to offer.

We are keeping our wedding as intimate as possible and are unable to accommodate a +1 for every guest. If your invitation says "and guest", then yes! If not, we appreciate you arriving solo and are grateful for your understanding!

Semi-formal/cocktail attire, please! Suits, dark jackets, long dresses, and cocktail dressed are welcome. Our ceremony and a portion of our cocktail hour will be outdoors, so please choose your attire (ladies, consider your shoes) wisely!

Short Answer: anybody that is not the bride or groom! If you have any questions the day before/day of the wedding, please do not contact the happy couple-to-be. Instead, our bridal party and day-of-coordinator will be happy to assist!

Yes! There is complimentary valet parking provided to all guests upon arrival. We know how stressful parking can be, and want to start the day off right! If you plan on enjoying our open bar and joining us for bar-hopping after the affair is complete, please consider using a ride-share service (Uber/Lyft), as we want you safe!

We will begin welcoming our guests at 3:40pm (please no earlier), and our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to allow for parking time and walking to the ceremony area.

Whelp, we live in Florida and know the weather can change at any moment. Generally, October evenings are cool and comfortable, though some years it is a tad chilly. If you become cold easily, it may benefit you to bring a light sweater/jacket. If as the BIG DAY approaches and it appears it may rain, we have the option to hold the entire event from start-finish indoors. The plan: stay dry, stay comfortable!

YES! Part of the appeal of the venue we selected is the close proximity to Downtown Sanford. Please feel free to join us for a casual bar crawl to some of our favorite spots after the wedding has concluded! The more the merrier, cheers to that!

Kinda? We are having an "unplugged ceremony" and therefore request you have your phones off/on silent and tucked away during the entire ceremony. We promise to share all of the incredible photos from our photographer afterwards! Once the ceremony is complete, take as many photos/videos as your heart desires; you will have plenty of opportunities throughout the cocktail hour and reception.
