Erika and Stephen met during the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in 2017. Erika had just graduated from Bucknell University and decided she wanted to take a gap year before figuring out law school. Stephen had just graduated from Arkansas State University and wanted to try out living in a new state. While they both began their program in August, the two would not cross paths until November at a popcorn cart in the Africa portion of Animal Kingdom. Over dinner at Wendys (we made $10/hr. LOL), they felt a connection and began dating. Once their time in Florida came to an end, they decided to take some time off from dating to do some growing up. Erika moved back to her family in Southern California where she began law school in San Diego. Stephen moved back to his family in Arkansas before beginning Perfusion school in Nebraska. The two stayed friends and connected over their shared hardships in grad school. While they wouldn't admit it, they knew there was always something special between them. On September 3, 2022, Erika secretly flew to Colorado Springs to see Stephen for the first time in 4 years. After a wonderful weekend together, the two decided to start dating again and figure things out. They both graduated from grad school in 2023 and Stephen moved to San Diego full-time. On October 11, 2024, Stephen got down on one knee and asked Erika to marry him. He then surprised her with none other than a completely planned out trip back to Disney World, where they first met. First stop, the popcorn cart in the Africa portion of Animal Kingdom! Now, almost 4 years after their secret rendezvous in Colorado, they will marry each other in front of their family and friends! They can't wait to celebrate this special relationship with you!!

While we do not have a room block here, this is also a great hotel super close to Old Town. We stay here quite often when spending time in Temecula.

SpringHill Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country

For those of you coming from out of town, there are three major airports that you can fly in to. We recommend flying into San Diego International and renting a car. You can also fly into Los Angeles Airport (LAX) or John Wayne Airport in Orange County. Renting a car is highly recommended to get to Temecula. It will take you between one to two hours to drive to Temecula from each airport depending on traffic :)

For those getting to Temecula on Thursday or Friday and are interested in wine tasting, we recommend getting the SIP Passport.
