Erika and Tom's story began in 2019. The couple met for the first time at Presidential City, where Tom lived with Erika's close friend in her medical school class. The two instantly became friends, and then later started dating in 2021.

Their relationship continued to grow, but so did the miles between them, as Tom moved to Washington, DC to start his residency.

Weekends were filled with 3hr trips back and forth between cities, but were also filled with many adventures along the way. From country concerts...

to ice skating...

Baseball games...

Summer BBQs...

Pumpkin patches...

and holidays, the couple made the most of their time together, despite living in different cities.

Erika moved to Washington, DC to begin her residency and to be closer to Tom.

Being in the same state allowed them to grow even closer and create more memories.

Some of their favorites include yearly Army-Navy games...

and "Love Grows" karaoke on New Year's.

Then on March, 1, 2024, Tom proposed to Erika, and the couple immediately started planning their future together as best friends, and as husband and wife.

Erika and Tom are very grateful for the continued love and support of their families, as well as for the close friends they have made along the way. They cannot wait to celebrate with you all soon!
