The way Nathan and I first met is what I (and he would agree with me) consider the "modern millennial meeting". We met on an app called Bumble. Bumble is more than a dating app, it also connects people with businesses, hobby groups, and more. The dating portion of this app only allows women to make the first move (because we are all queen bees ;) )
I actually first swiped left on accident, I was flipping through profiles too fast but Bumble gives redos and the second time I swiped right. I saw on his profile that he had a lot of same values that I had and he said that his favorite movie was Tarzan, that's when I knew I could give him a chance.
Our first date he picked me up at my parents' house and we went to the movie, “Instant Family,” then we went and watched Husker volleyball at Mel's bar in Norfolk.
It wasn't until our second date that I knew that Nathan was the one. Our second date consisted of us going to the Ponca Lights, getting lost, and enjoying hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps. He told me more about himself and we both learned that we were of the same faith and that our relationships with God were important to us.
Nathan is super sweet and spoils me like no other. I'm so happy that God led me to him.
