Our Wedding

David (Bubba) and Erika (Burps) met WAY back in a year that begins with a 19!! 1986 to be exact. David had just finished school at GCHS, while Erika had just finished GCMS! The initial meeting went like this.....2 young girls walking home from the last day of school and 2 older guys roll by in a smokin hot, red Camaro, promptly turning around to come back and say Hi and introduce themselves. Over the summer David and Erika bumped into each other from time to time, seemingly always at parties. Imagine that! They became friends and tried for more, but Gramps wasn't having it, due to the age difference and put the Kaboosh to that. David moved. Erika Didnt. Life Happened. And then social media happened. 37 years later a Facebook post was made about going to see Hamilton, the play. Erika commented on how much she loved Broadway. David slid into her DM's that evening. Catching up with a long lost friend turned into, always thinking about the other, that turned into talking nonstop, to monthly visits, and then LOVE. 37 years, 5 grown children, and 6 grand kids later, we have found our Forever.
