Family, Friends and Loved ones:

Please join us for a getaway in Amelia Island Florida for our destination wedding. Bring your family or significant other and relax and celebrate the joining of two lives. Historic American Beach was chosen for this ceremony because it is a special place for people of color. Similar to Martha’s Vineyard in the North, American Beach was one of the first places Blacks could vacation without fear of retribution. It has a rich history and is the perfect place for Erika and Bryan to pledge their love and commitment to one another.

Please view this weekend as an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday worries and unwind. Due to COVID-19 concerns the ceremony itself is limited to immediate family and the wedding party; however, we will be live streaming the nuptials so that you can share in witnessing our vows.

We have several group activities planned so that all can participate and enjoy. There will be 2 rounds of golf (Thursday and Friday), a Spa Outing on Friday and a Brunch on Saturday culminating with the ceremony and cocktails on Sunday. We encourage you to take advantage of the beautiful beaches and historic scenery and many activities of Amelia Island.

Finally, we appreciate gifts and know that they are heartfelt; however, they are not required but always appreciated. Since this is a “Grown Folks” wedding, if you feel compelled to give a love offering Cash is King!😊.
