Our journey began at the University of Scranton, where Erin and I were both student-athletes living in the same dorm during freshman year. We met through a mutual friend who set us up for a date party. What started as a simple introduction quickly grew into a meaningful connection.

By junior year, after an unforgettable visit to the Rockefeller Tree during Christmas break, we officially became a couple. After graduation, life took us in different directions— I moved to West Chester, PA, for a job that kept me there for 3.5 years, while Erin pursued her dream career as a nurse in New York City.

Even with the distance, our relationship only grew stronger. Nearly every weekend, one of us would make the trip between West Chester, PA, and Westchester, NY, with Amtrak trains becoming a second home. Those weekends together were filled with adventures, laughter, and memories we’ll cherish forever.

In the spring of 2024, everything changed when I landed a job in NYC, finally bringing us to the same city. Just a few months later, in October 2024, I proposed to Erin, beginning the next exciting chapter of our lives together.
