We started our journey out as friends with crushes. The friendship lasted 12 long years. In November of 2020 we attended the Rylander wedding, which I was standing up in. He proceeded to tell me at the wedding we should go on a date sometime. To which I responded, “if you feel the same tomorrow when the mashed potatoes and alcohol wears off, give me a call.”

He did in fact call me that next morning. We are now happy to start our new journey as man and wife and really cool dog parents for now.
