I like to surround myself with people more talented than me. That's why I started with the best of the best in picking my best man. Tony is an exceptional human being that everyone should have the opportunity to meet. It will be instantly clear how lucky I am to call him my dad if you do. Ask about his prank phone calls, twine or wire running taut across his street, and his stolen motorcycle for good laughs.

A man of few words, Josh is also the brother of my soon-to-be wife. He currently lives in Tennessee with his girlfriend, Rachel, and their golden doodle, Esse. He likes to golf and fish.

Trent is my sister's husband. He probably has the most noticeable southern accent out of my group. His capacity for friendship is remarkable but also a necessity as a lifelong Tennessee Vols fan. Jokes aside, you just can't have a bad time with this guy around.

Josh has been my best friend since childhood. As a kid from South Bend, Indiana, he moved to my neighborhood and talked about Notre Dame football like he found buried treasure. I also wanted buried treasure, and he was nice enough to share the spoils. Twenty years later, watching our lives change, the one constant has been Notre Dame football. We could always count on an exciting season before getting routed by an SEC team in the bowl season. I think we're both optimistic that the new head coach can do even better next season.

I met Devin during my undergraduate days at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He is the heart and soul of our friend group and has a witty joke locked and loaded for any given situation. He and his lovely girlfriend Carolyn just bought a house, which fits them well, since they are top-notch hosts.

Tyler was one of my best roommates in Boston. We have kept in touch ever since. We are in a candlepin bowling league these days. Our team is underperforming big time, but we are still optimistic about making the playoffs this year. As an aside, Tyler will not be joining us in Michigan. By happenstance, he, too, is getting married on September 10 in Boston, MA.
