David & I met each other when we moved into a home eventually named Kindred House Cincinnati. This house found its roots in August 2022 alongside our four other housemates: Parker Wilhelm, Elijah Knapp, Matt Fickenworth and Lydia Allen. For the first two years as housemates, we only ever remained friends. We never dreamt that we would find love in each other when we first met. But, over the course of those two years, the Lord began a work in both of our hearts, and the following timeline is a small glimpse into that! For the sake of story telling, the following timeline will be written by me (Erin).

Since then, we have been carefully planning our wedding on October 26th, 2025. We are so excited to share this moment alongside of some of our most beloved friends and family. We would appreciate your prayers in the planning process as well as our future together as a married couple!

This is Kimmy -  my loyal, kind, fiery, free-loving, hilarious,  big sister. She is always the first person I call when I need encouragement, someone to laugh with -  or to cry to. If there is one thing I know about Kimmy, it is that she loves people with all of her heart - and I wouldn't want to have anyone else be my right-hand gal on my wedding day.

Krystal is my eldest sister, and she is a person that I have consistently looked to for leadership and wise-council in my life! She is fun, hard-working, adventurous, passionate and always willing to try new things. My favorite thing about her is the tenderness she carries for people she loves and her heart for Jesus.

When I think of my sister Kelly, my mind goes back to when we were kids... horse-back riding together, fort making (in our parents upstairs living space, of course) and baking cookies side-by-side. There are so many sweet memories and conversations that have crafted our friendship, and I am grateful to God for her!

Michelle is my sister directly older than me, and because of that, we have always held a special bond. I remember sleep-overs in her room when I was scared at night, silly handshakes before family dinner and cheering each other on as we competed in a plethora of swimming, cross-country and track meets together. She is quirky and sweet and I love her to death!

I am not sure where to begin. Jess is my bestest friend! She is the kind of person who loves deeply and is always seeking the best in others. Jess has been there for me through it all -  from trying to make it past cosmetology school to late-night studying in college, to dreaming about who we would end up with. I can't imagine this day without her there next to me, and I love her to bits!

As David's little sister, Annie has quickly become one of my favorite people. She is hilarious, intelligent, thoughtful and (not-surprisingly) an insanely talented line-dancer. I can always count on her to make me laugh, be down to grab a last minute coffee, or watch a movie. One of my greatest joys in marrying David, is getting to join his incredible family and gaining this gal as a sister!

Between Wedding & Reception:

Our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm at Holy Trinity - St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. It will be ending around 4:15/4:30pm. Our Reception begins at 5:30pm&nbsp;at Madtree Brewing, and it is about a 20 minute drive. David and I have compiled some ideas for our guests in case you need to kill some time before the reception:

♡ Go to Madtree and hang out in the brewery area! They have tons of drink and food options if you need something small before our cocktail &amp; appetizer hour starting at 5:30. They also tend to have games outside that are up for grabs to play! ♡ Whether local or staying in the area for the night, take a little walk in Oakley area or Wasson Way trail. It should be nice and cool during late October! ♡ Head to Rookwood Shopping center just minutes from our reception if you want to take a look at some of the shops there. David and I love browsing the Joseph-Beth Bookstore. ♡ Head to Graeters Ice Cream or Aglamesis Bros located in Hyde Park for a taste of local sweet treats and a little pick me up. ♡ Take quick trip to Norwood's Factory 52 for Jeni's Ice Cream!

If you are coming for the weekend: 

This is for those of you who are coming for Saturday or early on Sunday morning and want some ideas on what there is to do. Here is a list of some of our favorite spots/general touristy areas for Cincy. Make sure to check out website/hours for the following so you can plan accordingly. Enjoy!

If you are in Cincinnati for the weekend, you have to check out Elliot Coffee. This sweet coffee shop was started by some of our dear friends who not only have a deep love for making delicious brews, but an even deeper love for community and Jesus. They have also consistently supported Erins bakery: Milk and Honey, LLC, by selling her famous Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies! Our personal favorite drinks are: ♡ Erin - Honey Orange Cappuccino♡ David - Ethiopian Drip Coffee

Elliott Coffee

This place is another one that has been a staple go-to in our relationship. Our dear friends from church own this shop opened Friday and Saturday mornings, and it really is a must-go! Everything cooked in the shop has been locally grown in Norwood, OH and cooked with love. Their "Pay As You Can Model" demonstrates their hearts for people and trust in Jesus.

For the Life of the World Cafe

If you are new to the Cincinnati area and have a couple hours to kill, Findlay Market is a classic Cincy Staple! This Market is full of local shops/vendors from the area, delicious food options and occasional free music. David and I enjoy going to Churchill's Fine Teas on the corner as well as grabbing fresh produce to cook with!

Home of our very first date, Fireside Pizza never disappoints. This place holds a special place in our hearts, and if you find yourself in the area the Friday or Saturday night before our wedding, we highly recommend eating here. Fireside offers a great atmosphere, drinks from local breweries, and DELISH pizza.

Hands-down the best bakery in Cincinnati, located in the Downtown area. Truly decadent desserts and patisserie craftsmanship. Brown Bear not only has my heart (Erin) when it comes to flavor, but also customer service. My biggest advice if you want to try out this shop is to get there when they open up and don't be discouraged if there is a line. It is every bit worth the wait and you wanna get there before they sell out!

We love Ault Park! Whether it is going for a walk, reading our bibles, hammocking, having a cute-picnic date or trying (unsuccessfully) to get in a work-out, Ault Park is truly a beautiful place to check out.

This is David &amp; I's home Church! If you are looking for a Sunday morning service to participate in, come and join us for Divine Liturgy starting at 9:30am! We suggest getting there at least 10 minutes early to find a seat (it gets a little packed!). Service usually lasts until around 11am. Blessings!
