Jordan and Erin met up for their first date at Tumwater Vineyard and it was the start of a beautiful relationship. In the last year and a half they have enjoyed many outdoor adventures, have explored several top rated foodie locations, and traveled to the Netherlands to meet Jordan’s new nephew Remi!

To propose, Jordan planned a hike near Manzanita for the last day of their weekend at the beach. This resulted in some frustration for Erin as there were multiple times where she thought Jordan was getting ready to ask her during the weekend away! While nearing the summit of the hike Jordan’s knee suspiciously began to “hurt”, according to Erin, and they turned around. Frustrated, again, Erin and Jordan made their way to the Devil’s Cauldron overlook. To Jordan’s annoyance, clouds rolled in to hide the sun and spoil his idyllic conditions. Undeterred, he asked Erin to go by the railing for a photo. Secretly, Jordan set up his phone to record video. Jordan made his way to the railing with the ring in his hand. As Erin turned around to face Jordan, he was getting onto his knee to ask the fateful question. Happily for Jordan and Erin, Erin said “Yes!”; but unfortunately, Jordan’s secret plan the record the proposal was for naught, as the phone slipped and recorded the sky!
