Q + A

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Formal and bright colors! The brighter the better, dress to impress (and ultimately make sure you're comfortable). As always, no white please.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

The average temperature in MA in June is 72°- 80°. Fingers crossed for sunshine.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both be taken place at the Grand View in Mendon, MA.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The plan is that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside and the reception will be inside at the Grand View in Mendon, MA. In the event of rain, all festivities will be inside the same venue.

What happens after the ceremony?

There will be a cocktail hour at the venue followed by the reception.

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

While we are so excited to have you at our wedding, we are opting for a more intimate rehearsal dinner. Separate invitations will be provided for this event, which will be limited to the wedding party and their guests.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

The venue is located at 6 Nipmuc Dr., Mendon, MA 01756. Transportation via buses will be provided from the Doubletree Milford at 3:30pm sharp with return following the reception. If you plan on driving to the venue yourself, we encourage you to research travel times prior to the wedding day. There is ample parking provided on site.

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive at 4pm, a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is seated on time. Those who arrive late will be asked to wait in the bar area until the ceremony has concluded.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There is ample room in the parking lot at the Grand View, and yes it is free. Transportation will also be provided to and from the Doubletree Milford for those staying over night. We want everyone to have a fun, safe time so whichever you prefer works for us!

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Yes! Please see the "Travel + Hotel" section where a link directly to the room block is provided.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
