We are so excited for you to celebrate with us in Puerto Rico! There are many reasons why Puerto Rico is called the Island of Enchantment. We hope you are able to enjoy all the sites and culture that the island has to offer!

El Yunque National Forest

El Yunque is a beautiful rainforest located in Rio Grade, PR. The rainforest is very close to the Wyndham & our wedding venue. The rainforest has breathtaking waterfalls and various hiking trails! There are also several activities that can be booked through Tripadviser such as guided tours, zip-lining, and ATV tours if you are interested in an " off the beaten path" experience.

BAHÍA BIOLUMINISCENTE

Bioluminescence is found in only 5 ecosystems in the world and Puerto Rico is home to 3 of them. Microorganisms glow in the water as you move. A night kayaking excursion is a fun way to enjoy this unique phenomenon.

Icacos Cay

Visit one of Puerto Rico's offshore uninhabited islands! Take a day trip by either booking an excursion or taking the water taxi. Just remember the island is uninhabited! So if you take the water taxi, please pack food, drinks, etc. The island has a relaxing, unspoiled beach to lounge on and is surrounded by unbelievably clear blue waters hosting a diverse and abundant underwater life, making it an ideal snorkeling site. It forms part of the La Cordillera Reef Nature Reserve.

Viejo San Juan

Viejo or "Old" San Juan is a MUST VISIT in Puerto Rico. You can spend a whole afternoon exploring the narrow Spanish roads, visiting small coffee shops and stumbling upon countless areas for photo-opps. We recommend visiting Old San Juan during the week because it will be less busy, so you can fully enjoy all of the beautiful streets and views. Old San Juan is extremely walkable (wear comfortable shoes!)

Barrachina

The most famous restaurant in Old San Juan, where the piña colada was invented! Barrachina is known as the King of paella and is locally famous. Enjoy live music too!

La Placita

205 Calle José M. Raffucci Morales, San Juan, 00907, Puerto Rico

La Placita is a market square with a ton of restaurants, live music, cheap drinks, and Latin dancing on the streets. Make sure you check it out on a Friday or Saturday night for a late dinner and dancing.

San Felipe del Morro Castle

El Morro is 475 year old fort in Old San Juan. It is a must see if you love history or want some really unique pictures. It is absolutely beautiful!

Casa Bacardi

PR-165, Cataño, 00949, Puerto Rico

Take a mixology class, a rum tasting or history tour at the world's largest premium rum distillery! Its about 20 min from the Old San Juan area. If you don't feel like driving/taking a cab or Uber - there's a ferry available! The ferry is available from Pier 2 in Old San Juan. It departs every thirty minutes and is fifty cents each way. When you arrive at the Cataño pier, you will find taxis on the right at the bus station. Casa BACARDÍ is a short two miles taxi ride away ($3) . Find ferry information and scheduling here. Its only a 10 minute ride and adds to your experience.

Piñones

Head to Piñones for authentic Puerto Rican food! Kiosks and restaurants line the street - you'll probably have a hard time choosing! We recommend El Rinconcito Latino for fried food/fresh coconuts and Mi Casita Seafood for platters. Once you're done eating, you are steps away from the beach!
