Q + A

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Please RSVP online through our wedding website. You will receive an invitation email with a link to follow.

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 11, 2025

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The Dana offers mobility accessible guest rooms, walkways, and parking. More information regarding specific accommodations can be found at: https://www.thedana.com/accessibility

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

The easiest way to get to and from both the reception and ceremony is to stay onsite at the Dana Hotel and walk. If you would prefer to stay at another hotel and/or airbnb close by, we recommend using uber, lyft, or a San Diego cab service to get to the venue. If you are driving, there will be designated parking for guests of the wedding.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors while dinner and the reception will be indoors.

If I choose to stay at the Dana, will I receive a discount on lodging?

Yes! Letting the Dana know that you are a guest of the wedding will get you a 15% discount on your room. The discount will apply until the hotel reaches above 75% occupancy (while unlikely, the earlier you can make reservations the better).

What is the dress code for your wedding?

The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal

Am I allowed to bring additional guests?

Each invitation will include the number of invited guests (this includes plus ones and children). If the person is not listed on the invitation and/or above the number of allotted guests, we respectfully ask that you do not extend them an invite.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, when you RSVP please indicate any dietary restrictions or food allergies and we will ensure there is a meal option for you.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes prior to the start time.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Yes! Please take as many photos as you would like during the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. You are welcome to take photos during the ceremony, just please be mindful of our photographer.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Absolutely!
