The dress code is casual/semi-formal. Please dress comfortably and appropriately for the venue and weather. The ceremony will be on grass, so we recommend block heels or flats.

We kindly ask that only the people listed on your invitation attend. Due to venue capacity and budget, we’re keeping the guest list intimate.

The ceremony starts at 5:00 pm, so please arrive 15–30 minutes early to find parking and get seated.

Yes, both will take place at Avonley Homestead. After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing.

Yes, there’s free parking at the venue. Look for signs or parking attendants when you arrive.

It’s usually warm in August. The ceremony is outdoors, and we’ll have fans if needed.

Absolutely! We have set up a hotel block at Candlewood Suites in Shelbyville for out of town guests or whoever chooses to stay at a discounted rate.
