These are all the reasons that have brought us to this point and to be able to share all of these on our big day with our most beloved family and friends brings us great joy! We just want to share a few words to show how this day came to be, don’t worry “boring” is not in our repertoire so we’ll keep it short and sweet. 


Four years ago, Erin’s coworker Heather had a revelation in the car about having the two of them meet. She told Erin there was a boy that she knew from an acquaintance that worked with him as a carpenter. Kegan was told by that very same acquaintance that he should stop by Bob Jass Chevrolet to get his work truck in for an oil change so he could meet this girl he was talking about. He decided he should go even though he was sworn to go to Ron Westphal Chevrolet because his uncle/boss was friends with one of the employees. Walking into the shop at Bob Jass for the first time seeing those pretty blue eyes and long blonde hair, Kegan knew that he had just locked in oil changes for life. When the van was ready, Erin sent Kegan on his way with her business card which he still has to this day. 


Shortly after their first encounter, Heather threw a “White Trash Bash” party at her house, mainly for them to have another interaction. What better way to get to know someone then have them dress in the most rattiest clothes ever and look completely homely. It couldn’t have been a more perfect idea. Kegan showed up in thrift store attire, wearing a half cut flannel shirt and holy glittery jeans as tight as his chicken legs would take. Erin was all dolled up with fake tattoos, a Budweiser tank top, Daisy Duke shorts, her signature camouflage ball cap. Not to mention she had on fake crooked Austin Powers teeth that Kegan couldn’t resist! That night they ended up sitting against a car, cuddling under a blanket at the house. They stared at the midnight sky and dreamed as stars flew by until the sun came up. I think as each shooting star passed they were both wishing for the same thing, to have this spark last. Both of them knew after that night they had something that no one can take – a memory for a lifetime that started the love they have for each other today.
