Taylor went to University of Texas-Austin and Erin went to University of Alabama, but frequently came home to Texas throughout college and would visit her friends at UT. Many of Erin's guy friends from high school were all in the Sig Ep fraternity and Taylor became one of their best friends.

The first time Erin noticed Taylor was during one of those visits to Austin,TX- they were all at Austin's Pizza and suddenly a cute blonde haired guy with his backpack on showed up. He had come straight from the library-- on a Game day Saturday :) (He should catch some slack for that, but I think after his recent graduation from med school, I think it is safe to say the studying paid off). After that brief meeting, Erin was always excited to run into "that cute Pre-Med boy" when she would visit.

Taylor remembers really noticing Erin when they were at a friend's Deb Ball party in Houston their Junior year of college. He remembers the dress she was wearing and hanging out with her and their best friend Eugene at the party. Then, Erin drove a car load of those crazy Sig Ep boys back to Dean Delery's house and Taylor decided to "play it cool" and give Erin his number to text him when she got home safely.

After that, Taylor would text Erin when she would come to Austin and they remained friends until Senior year of college when Taylor visited Houston. He got the courage to ask her to on a date and after that there was no turning back!
