One fateful Halloween day in DC Reggie Rocket met Ruby Rose (costumes!).

Chapter 1 - The Start

Erin and Nat started dating after meeting at a Halloween costume bar crawl in DC. At that time, Erin lived in VA and Nat lived in MD. We survived DC traffic driving to and from VA and MD, a relationship feat worth recognizing.

Chapter 2 - Lucy (The Luce McGoose, Mongoose, Lucyfur)

Living together in VA, we volunteered at a local shelter together. We walked and took care of the shelter dogs so I guess we should not have been too surprised when one captured our hearts. After a play date filled with puppy-dog eyes and relaxing cuddles, Lucy joined our family! Lucy had actually just got spayed, so she was calm because she was on drugs. Joke was on us when she was full energy the next week. We love her either way. See photo evidence above, years later and still full of energy.

Chapter 3 - Franklin (Little Boy, Tiny Little Bean, Stankie Frankie)

Not long after, Nat discovered a tiny dog needing a home and her eyes sparkled looking at him. Erin immediately knew that Nat was going to be bringing this dog home but graciously let Nat believe they were going to a meet him and have a rational discussion about getting another dog. We brought Frankie home that day.

Chapter 4 - Bonding Time

We spent COVID lock down in a Baltimore studio apartment with two dogs. This is another key relationship feat that deserves recognition!

Chapter 5 - Boston

We moved to Boston and it surprised us by becoming our new home. We are so happy our guests will get to see our new home as you join us in Boston for the wedding. By the time Nat was halfway through her second year of grad school, we were 90% sure we were going to stay here, but we hadn't officially made a decision. That is....until we signed the contract for our wedding venue and then looked at each other and exclaimed "Oh shit! This is in Massachusetts!".
