What should I expect from the vibe of the wedding?
Think elevated celebration meets great energy — personal, fun, emotional, and very us. We want the night to feel meaningful, welcoming, and unforgettable.
What should guests wear?
We’re celebrating outdoors in Enumclaw on September 26, so think semi-formal with a comfortable, rustic touch. For women: cocktail or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or a blouse-and-skirt combo. For men: dress pants with a button-down and blazer or a lightweight suit. Please bring a light layer for cool evening temperatures and wear shoes suitable for grass and uneven terrain. If you’d like to lean more casual, colorful smart-casual outfits are welcome—no athletic wear, please.
Are children welcome to attend?
We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep the celebration adults-only. This helps us create the atmosphere we’re planning and ensures space and seating for all guests. If you need help finding nearby childcare options, reach out and we’ll share recommendations.
Can I take photos?
We politely ask guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so our photographer can capture the moment and so everyone can be present. Feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception — we’d love to see them afterward. If you post on social, please use our hashtag: #deckland2026.
Where should we stay?
Best for Most Guests (Hotels)
Downtown Auburn
Auburn near Highway 18 / Muckleshoot area
Sumner (surprisingly good option nearby)
Potential hotel options include:
GuestHouse Enumclaw
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Auburn Downtown
Muckleshoot Casino Resort
Best for Vibe / Scenic Weekend

Greenwater area
Cabin/Airbnb stays near Mount Rainier access
Examples:

What time should I arrive?
We suggest arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking, check-in with our ushers, and finding seats. If you plan to join the cocktail hour, arriving earlier is helpful so you don’t miss photos or the start of the reception. We’ll post the exact ceremony start time soon—please check back here for the finalized schedule.
Can I bring a plus one?
Yes — if your invitation includes a plus one, you’re welcome to bring them. If an invitation is addressed only to your name, please assume space is only for you. If you have questions about a specific guest on your invitation, contact us and we’ll clarify.
What kind of music should we expect?
A mix of everything we love — high-energy moments, emotional moments, throwbacks, singalongs, and definitely some EDM-inspired influence throughout the night.
