Michael and Erin met in 6th grade starting middle school together at Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons with separate friend groups. In 8th grade Erin's best friend Christine, convinced her to go to the 8th grade dance with Michael. They decided to date in middle school however three months later Erin broke it off because she was going to a different school for high school.


About 4 days into her new high school experience Erin decided that her new school wasn't for her, and she wanted to go back. Erin and Michael didn't talk much when she came back to Bishop Gibbons and they had separate friend groups once again.


On New Years Eve, 2013 going into 2014, Erin was with her best friend Christine and they started talking about him and how she really missed talking to him. Erin decided to text him and wish him a happy new years and asked to see if he wanted to hang out soon again. Michael responded back to Erin and wished her a happy new years and said that he was was sick and maybe they could do something next break. Erin and Michael remained talking at school, and texting for weeks between New Year's Eve and February Break. Over break they decided going out on a date together and had their first date at Boulevard Bowl in Schenectady. A few days later when Michael was playing Xbox with his friends and texting Erin, they officially started dating in high school together on February 18th, 2014. Michael and Erin went to Junior and Senior Prom together, graduated high school together, went to the same college, and both received degrees in what they are passionate about. Michael graduated UAlbany with a degree in Criminal Justice and Erin graduated with a degree in Social Work.


Fast forward years later, they just bought their first home, have two cats, Covie, Remington (Remy), and a Golden Retriever named Bruce. After A LOT of hard work, Michael now works as a Schenectady Police Officer and Erin is a Schenectady Elementary School Social Worker.


After 10 years together, we can’t wait to be able to spend the day and enjoy our love and happiness with everyone around us! We look forward to seeing you there!
