Erin and Henry met fittingly at the Admiral's Cup in Fells Point, Baltimore. Henry was stalking Erin from across the bar, and happened to bump into her not too shortly after that. Erin reluctantly gave up her digits, and after a few on point text messages the rest is history!

Erin was contacted by Henry's sister Anne in December of 2016. Anne had a brilliant "fake" plan to take Henry to Ocean City and hang out at the beach for a day as her Christmas gift to Henry. Erin was not thrilled by Anne's idea of driving to Ocean City 1 day before Christmas, but because she is a team player she played along and helped "surprise" Henry with the trip.

Upon arriving to Ocean City, Erin, Henry, and Anne thought it was a good idea to walk along the beach. On a picture perfect December afternoon with the beach to themselves, Henry began to draw a heart in the sand. Erin immediately knew what was happening (not really) and asked Henry, "Are you drawing a butt? "

Henry, unfazed by Erin's question, added an "E +H" above his lovely heart and on a knee , with engagement ring in hand, asked Erin to spend eternity with him. Erin quickly responded, "Is this real?" She then looked to Anne for support looked back and said, "Is this really happening?" Henry and Erin embraced and after roughly five minutes Henry asked "Are you going to say yes? You still haven't responded." Thankfully for Henry, Erin did say yes and they are thrilled to be spending their lives together.

If the ring surprise wasn't enough for Erin, as the newly engaged couple returned from the beach, Henry surprised Erin with a beach condo as a Christmas gift. Erin immediately said yes to this gift without hesitation!

On a day when Erin thought she was helping Anne surprise Henry, Erin ended up with 2 mega surprises that she will never forget.
