Cason & Erin met in the most fitting way considering their future occupations as an airport director and an airline pilot! One day after a flight lesson, Erin went into the terminal at Grand Forks International Airport to say hello to her cousin, Erica, who worked part time at the Avis rental counter. Erin couldn't help but notice the handsome guy working at the Enterprise booth right next to Erica. Erin asked her cousin who the cute boy was, to which Erica's response was, "Oh, that is just Cason. He is too quiet for you!" Erin responded with, "I am going to marry that man some day." Little did any of us know how true that would end up to be.
The couple started out as good friends. Cason would help Erin with her aviation weather assignments. At the time, Cason thought Erin really needed help studying but if you know Erin's side of the story, she admits that she pretended to need help to spend more time with Cason. What started as homework dates turned into actual dates and now the two are inseparable! Time really makes you know a person & over the past two years Cason & Erin have had nothing but time on their hands to enjoy this crazy life together!
The couple has always found joy with each other's presence. Cason & Erin accomplished a lot during the past couple years together. Cason graduated from college & is now working operations & aircraft rescue and firefighting at GFK (the place where it all started) while Erin continues her flight education here at UND! Sometimes Erin jokes around and says she should call an alert 3 while flying just so Cason has to come to her rescue in his gear on the fire truck lol! The couple has been able to travel to various places together including Devils Lake in WI, Zion & Salt Lake City in UT, Fort Meyers, FL and the badlands of ND. They plan to do a mini honeymoon on a cruise to the Bahamas right after the wedding and to do a big honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii next winter. Cason & Erin are so excited to continue their lives as a married couple. Here is to happily ever after!
