Q + A

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Our ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM. We kindly ask that all guests be seated no later than 1:45 PM to ensure a smooth and timely start — and to avoid a dramatic late entrance!

Will there be parking at the church and venue?

Yes! Both the church and reception venue offer parking. We’ll provide detailed information for venue parking closer to the date to make arrival easy and stress-free. For Gesu Church- Free parking is available directly behind Gesu in Lot J: 601 N 11th St Milwaukee, WI 53233

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 30, 2026. We can't wait to celebrate with you, and your timely response helps us plan accordingly! If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend and you’ll be marked as a “no” — and we’ll miss you dearly!

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be clearly indicated. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to clarify!

Are children allowed?

While we love your little ones, our celebration will be an adults-only event. Only a few special children from our immediate families will be in attendance. We appreciate your understanding!

What is the dress code?

Black tie preferred. We’d love to see our favorite people dressed to the nines with us! That means tuxedos or formal suits for gentlemen, and floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail attire for ladies. Think timeless, elevated, and celebration-ready.

What do I do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

The ceremony will wrap up around 3:00–3:15 PM, and cocktail hour kicks off at 5:30 PM. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore a few of our favorite local spots for a drink or a snack: Camp Bar Third Ward, The Outsider, Swingin’ Door Exchange, Explorium Brewpub, Tiki Bar, Elsa’s on the Park, Lakefront Brewery, &Central Standard Crafthouse. Or take the opportunity to freshen up and relax before the evening festivities begin!

Will there be an open bar?

YES — cheers! We’ll have a full open bar available throughout the evening. Please note that the bar will close briefly after cocktail hour from 6:30–7:00pm, and last call will be at 11:00 pm. We kindly ask that you plan your transportation accordingly and drink responsibly so everyone can enjoy the celebration safely!
