TIME AND PARKING LOTS KEEPS BRINGING US TOGETHER


As told by Erin: We met almost 30 years ago in a parking lot, and life keeps bringing us back together. Brian was waiting for a ride to pick him up from work, and I was being a dumb teenager with my friends. Me and my friends approached him because he was cute and we quickly became friends. He was one of my closest friends in high school. We stayed friends until I joined the military but lost touch during my time away living our own individual lives.
Once I separated though, I missed my friend and looked for him. We went driving around one night and stopped in another parking lot to sit and catch up. We became a couple that night and were together for two years, although we were too young for what we wanted then.
18 years later, we ran into each other once again in another parking lot. It was his moms birthday, and we just happened to be grocery shopping at the same time. He was nervous that I was going to hit him before approaching me, and it hit me all at once upon seeing him that I had missed him. I didnt know what to say or how to feel. I just knew that I wanted to talk to him more. It didnt take two weeks for us to know that we wanted to be together.
Life brought us together one more time, and this time were ready for a future together. We are a family of four with two kiddos that support the love we have for each other and the love we have for them. We are blessed to be able to share our special day where we honor the love that we have for each other with our friends and family. Thank you to everyone that will be joining us.


A DIVINE RELATIONSHIP


As told by Brian: Some people come into our lives that change us for the better. Who encourage us to try new things. Who love us deep down from the bottom of their hearts. Its a divine connection, meaning you share a soul-based connection. Every time we were apart. When I would drive by her parents house on the way to see my mom, I had a whispering voice in the back of my head... Look over there. I would look just to get a glimpse for a second if she was out there. I missed her so badly. I had seen Erin several times throughout my life but it was never the right time for us. I had to give God something to work with. I had to change.
My prayers were answered on August 10th, 2022. When we both parked at Walmart at the exact same time about 20 feet away from each other. I got goosebumps immediately. I knew I had to talk to her with a little persuasion from my cousin Judy. We talked for 10 days and I then asked her on a date. That date turned into a wedding in just a little under 2 years. Its been absolutely wonderful being together. Now, every time we are together my heart knows she is the one for me. I realize now that God has placed us together again and we are ready for a new beginning.
