How should I get there?

There is a gravel parking lot that can accommodate up to 115 cars. I would recommend Uber or Lyft if you do not have a car available.

What will the weather be like?

February in Austin will be mild - average high is around 66.5°F / low is around 45.8°F. Precipitation: February is typically the driest month of the year!

Where should I stay?

Here are a few hotels that are closest to The Barr Mansion - North East Austin. But it may also be fun to choose a nice stay in the heart of Austin Downtown. Are children invited to the wedding?

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.

Who should I contact if I have questions about the wedding?

What time should I arrive?

We have a breakdown of order of events on the website details. Please arrive no earlier/later than 5:30PM.

Where is the ceremony?

The ceremony will be in the farmstead on the far right corner of The Barr grounds.

Where is the reception?

After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour in front of the greenhouse ballroom onsite. Once ready, The Barr ballroom will open for reception/dinner and dancing!

Where should I sit?

Ceremony: The first rows will be reserved for direct family of the Bride and Groom (will be identified). We ask that there are no "sides" and please find a seat where available! Reception: There will be a designated seating arrangement for the reception, please use the seating wall to find your seat!

What time should I go home?

We have the venue for 5 hours, so please make arrangements for traveling home/back to your hotels at 10:30!

Can I bring a plus one?

When filling out the address/email contact list, there is a separate line for a +1. If you did not do so, please reach out to Erin to confirm if a +1 is available.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than November 1st, 2025.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

We will have plated dinners, please specify your choice (Chicken, Beef, Vegetarian) at RSVP. Please let us know if you have any other dietary restrictions.

Will you be serving alcohol?

There will be an open bar serving 12 Selections of Classic Spirits, Wines, and Beers as well as Devon and Erin's signature cocktails. (There is NO outside liquor allowed on the premises)

Is there a theme?

The dress code is Winter Formal/Black Tie optional. We suggest to bring a jacket should it get chilly in the evening.

Can I take photos?

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. After the ceremony, bring the phones out! We will have a QR code on all tables to upload your photos via Guest Pix so we can capture all your moments.

Do you have a gift registry?

Devon and Erin prefer no gifts - instead contribute to the Honeymoon Fund to Japan.
