What is your venue?

Our venue is Abigail's Garden at Abernethy Center! It is the venue across the street from the main building that holds the offices and the ballroom! This venue is outside, so please dress accordingly to the weather. Our ceremony is outside, and the cocktail hour and reception are held under a tent close by. There is an individual address for our side of the venue, so please keep this in mind for when we send out invitations.

What is the transportation and parking at the venue like?

Abernethy Center hosts a large parking lot at both of their venues, so there will be plentiful parking on our side of the venue for all of our guests! If you are unable to drive and unable to secure a ride, there is Lyft, Uber, and other transportation services here in the Portland Metro area!

Who can I contact the day of the wedding?

The wedding party, the bride and groom's parents, other attendees. Please do not try to contact the bride and groom!

What if I can no longer make the wedding?

No worries! We are livestreaming the event, so you can still be a part of our special day from the comfort of your home. We are sending everyone instructions on how they can tune into the livestream.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Due to the bride being immunocompromised, the bride and groom elected to only invite those close to us to minimize exposure. We completely understand if you choose to wear a mask to our event, but it is not required. However, we do politely ask that you make sure that you are minimizing contact with ill persons to prevent exposure to us and our guests. If you are sick close to the event, we ask that you please tune in to the livestream instead.

wedding colors and dress attire?

Our colors are plum purple, navy blue, and Black. Cocktail attire is the dress code for our venue. This covers ladies being able to wear dresses that include knee length and do not need to be full-on evening gowns. For gentlemen, slacks, a nice button-up shirt, and a tie with nice shoes (no tennis), and a suit jacket. Dependent on weather, a jacket is not required.
