Erin and Christian knew each other for years before they became a couple. The turning point came when their mutual friend Sheila had a baby named Camila. Since Erin doesn’t drive, Sheila suggested that she ride with Christian to visit. That day, Erin saw a side of Christian she hadn’t noticed before. A few weeks later, on July 30, 2014, Christian invited Erin to go out for hookah. Erin thought it would be just a friendly hangout—she couldnt resist good hookah! But she was in for a surprise. They started dating immediately, and Christian soon realized he loved Erin during a date at the Coney Island aquarium. It took Erin a bit longer to stop referring to him as “this kid” and finally call him her boyfriend. Now, after nearly a decade together, she can call him her fiancé. Although these two can be very different from each other, they are best friends and their love for travel, true crime, horror, IPAs and Tito’s and club keeps them together! Erin moved into Christian’s condo in October 2016, where Christian became an amazing cat daddy to Erin’s cat, Mia! They lived there until 2023 when they bought a new condo together. They are thrilled with their new home, especially the rooftop. Obviously, the next step was engagement. Christian proposed on May 8, 2024, at Rooftop at Exchange Place in Jersey City, a place they had never visited before. Erin was caught off guard, expecting a proposal at a familiar spot. On a beautiful night with a stunning skyline view, Christian got down on one knee, declaring Erin his soulmate and best friend. Erin, overwhelmed with joy, barely remembered what he said. He told her the ring may not fit and she licked her finger and shoved it on! Christian had to ask if it was a yes because Erin was too shocked to speak. Of course, she said yes! The proposal was even more special because it happened on Camila’s 10th birthday—the very girl who brought them together.
