Our Wedding

🎶 He was a grass guy, she said see you later guy 🎶 In 2018, Erin and Thomas attended a totally normal George Washington-themed birthday party. That night marked the beginning of Thomas' four-year adventure, moving across the US through three states with Erin on his mind while she spent the time thinking he was a fine friend. For those four years Erin and Thomas remained friends while Thomas harbored his crush and Erin hosted unforgettable Christmas parties. Eventually, Erin recognized her feelings for Thomas, and their summer in the Hamptons marked the beginning of their journey together. Now living in Maryland with their dog Ace, they are excited to tie the knot in the Finger Lakes. Erin and Thomas are thankful for the love and support from all of you and can't wait to take the next step of their journey with you. 🎶 Come on, show 'em what you're worth, make 'em go, Ah, ah, ah, As you shoot across the sky 🎶

Did Erin's mom make the save the dates and invitations?

Yes! She is so talented at card making, just don't ask her how many "Happy Birthday!" stamps she has or how many shades of blue there are! P.S. The invites are "boho blue".

We are coming into town on Friday 5/16, is there anything to do?

Join us by kicking off the weekend on Friday May 16th, at the Revelry Yards near Ithaca Commons. Wood fired pizzas and an open bar will be available from 7pm -&nbsp;9pm.&nbsp;

Can I bring my kids to the wedding? 

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration - we hope you understand.

Will there be transportation on Saturday to and from the hotels?

Yes! There will be shuttles available from the hotel to the venue before the ceremony, as well as shuttles to return to the hotels throughout the reception. Buses will leave each hotel promptly at 3:40 pm. Return busses will leave the venue at 9:15, 10:30 and 12:00.

What time is the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. A cocktail hour and reception will immediately follow.&nbsp;

What can I expect for the weather to be?

In Ithaca the weather in May can be unpredictable. We will update the website with the planned forecast closer to the date of the wedding. In 2024 the high was 73 degrees and the low was 55, but in 2023 the high was 49 degrees and we don’t need to talk about the low.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Yes! Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be held under the tent.&nbsp;

What is the wedding attire?

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We invite you to RSVP online utilizing the RSVP tab, or by mailing back the Response card sent with the invitation. Please use whichever option is easiest for you!

By what date do I need to RSVP?

Please RSVP by March 15th, 2025.

Your food options are vague - are there any more details? 

Wedding planning is hard and you need to know what people want before you decide what is on the menu! We believe the beef will be a filet, the fish will be a salmon, and the vegetarian will be a gnocchi but these are subject to change.&nbsp;

I am flying, what is the closest airport?

While Ithaca does have an airport, there are limited flight options. Syracuse Airport is 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Inn and Rochester Airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Inn. If you need help with transportation, please let us know.&nbsp;

At this time, all our hotel blocks are full. If you need help with accommodations, please reach out to Erin at 585-730-2491.

We will let you know separately if a room at the Inn at Taughannock Falls has been reserved for you. It is important to us that everyone has a safe and wonderful time at our wedding. To accomplish this and show our appreciation, we would love for you to stay the weekend or night at the Statler Hotel, Hampton Inn, or the Fairfield Inn as our guest. Please make a reservation for the entire duration of your visit using the links below. Although the website will display the Friday and Saturday rates, rest assured that this cost will be waived from your final bill. Please be advised that there is a local college graduation taking place the same weekend. We strongly encourage you to book your stay as soon as possible to guarantee accommodations with us. 7pm - 9pm Join Thomas and Erin as they kick off the weekend with wood fired pizzas and cocktails at Revelry Yards near Ithaca Commons (111 N Aurora St, Ithaca, NY 14850). Note - the space is outdoor, but if the weather is cold there will be a tent with heaters and there are small fire pits to gather around!
