Let's kick off the weekend celebrating Erin and Michael! Please join us for drinks and light hors d'oeuvres on the rooftop of the Shepherd Hotel located in downtown Clemson. Time: 7-9pm Location: The Shepherd Hotel110 Sloan St, Clemson, SC 29631 Semi-Formal Attire **There is no provided transportation to the welcome party. We recommend taking Uber or driving and parking in downtown Clemson.

COCKTAIL HOUR + RECEPTION

Buses will take guests from the chapel back to the Martin Inn for the reception. Please follow signs for the Owen Pavilion for cocktail hour and the reception. Time: 6-10 PM Address: Owen Pavilion at the Martin Inn 230 Madren Center Dr, Clemson, SC 29631 ***There will be one bus leaving at 10:15pm to take guests to the Shepherd Hotel/downtown Clemson to continue the celebration!

The Inn is currently switching to a new system; thus, online booking in unavailable. To book a room in the meantime, please call the James F. Martin Inn at 864-654-9020. Please be sure to refer to the Huff-Crosby Wedding Block. We have reserved a block of rooms for Friday and Saturday night. Please also ensure you get a confirmation email from the hotel after booking. The Martin Inn is conveniently located at the location of our reception and transportation will be provided to and from the ceremony.

Additional Lodging Options

To book, please click the website link below which will take you to the reservation page for our block of rooms. As we expect most guests to stay at the James F. Martin Inn, transportation to and from the ceremony will not be provided from this location. You are welcome to drive to the Martin Inn/reception spot and use our provided transportation from there! There will be one bus taking guests to the Shepherd Hotel/downtown area after the reception at 10:15pm.

Getting to Clemson

Clemson is located in the upstate of South Carolina just over the Georgia border. If you are flying in, we recommend flying into Greenville/Spartanburg (GSP) or Atlanta (ATL). Clemson is located approximately 55 minutes from the Greenville/Spartanburg Airport airport. We suggest taking an Uber/Lyft or getting a rental car if flying into this location. Additionally, Clemson is just over 2 hours from the Atlanta airport. We recommend getting a rental car if flying into Atlanta.

Travel and Lodging

“The Invisible String Theory is a concept that suggests that people are connected by an unseen bond that transcends time, distance, and geography.&nbsp;The theory suggests that everyone has a perfect match”&nbsp; For years, Michael and I were connected by an invisible string. Starting from our years at Clemson, we crossed paths numerous times, yet always seemed to just miss each other. From living in neighboring dorms freshman year and the same complex junior and senior year, it is funny to think how close we were to our future spouse without even knowing.&nbsp; Through our time at Clemson, we had numerous mutual friends, both studied business and even attended the same wine nights at Michael's house. We were quite literally right next to each other, yet once again did not meet.&nbsp; &nbsp;After graduation, we both ended up in Atlanta, but it would still be a few years before we finally met. During that time, we both started to lose hope in finding someone who would truly love every part of us.&nbsp; And then, finally, on December 27th, 2023, we met. Our first date was at the Ponce City Market rooftop where Michael won me a stuffed frog we named Fredrick. We talked and laughed for hours and at the end of the night had a pretty good feeling about things.&nbsp; From our first date to now, we have spent almost every waking moment together. It was early on that we knew each other was the one. In such a short time, we grew to become best friends and fall more and more in love each day. Whoever said “when you know, you know” sure was right.&nbsp; On October 18th 2024, Michael got down on one knee in the same place we first said “I love you”. Now we look forward to celebrating our love with all our friends and family and pray for continued years of love, joy, laughter, and peace together.&nbsp; “People can perceive God's invisible attributes, such as His eternal power and divine nature, in the things that have been made.” -Romans 1:20-21 "And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony” - Colossians 3:14
