Maui is a pricey island and Accommodations on the island follow suit. That being said, we will provide some (but definitely not a complete list) of options available for all budgets.
Airbnb and VRBO are most affordable options offering flexibility and a variety of locations on island. Follow the map above when looking for places to stay and relative location to the venue.
Links below take you directly to Maui short term rental options from 10/10-10/15.
Another option to get a little savings in terms of travel is booking your hotel (and flight if you'd like) through Costco.com for Costco members. This gives an extensive list of hotels not listed below. Option to add flight to the hotel to bundle and save.
We have foregone a typical hotel block to allow our guests flexibility in budget and needs for their accommodations. Also, hotel blocks did not really save much in cost. However, the below link takes you to discounted rooms all around the island that were discounted through wedding coordination.
Our favorite hotel to stay. Best for those that want comfort and luxury of hotel without the large resort. Not on beach, but beach very close by.

Rental car is highly recommended. The rental car center at the airport is very simple to use. Recommend making reservations in advance. 4 wheel drive not necessary.
Public trans is limited.
Ride shares like Uber and Lyft do exist and can be used but may not be as abundant as in bigger cities.
