Max and Erin met while Erin was bartending at J.D. Oxford's pub, a little gig she had on Sunday nights for some extra cash. Max ordered a beer, but the keg was kicked, so Erin gave him a half-full glass of half-foam, telling him that she would bring him a new one once the keg was changed. Apparently that bit didn't register with him, because when she brought another beer, free of charge, Max thought, "she's flirting with me!" After chatting for a while, he asked for her number, which she gave him on a napkin. After dating for a few weeks, they decided that the night that they met would be their anniversary.
