<a href="https://www.unioncountyhistory.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Historic Courthouse and Museum</a>Architecture and history come alive for you when you visit this Romanesque brick and granite courthouse built in 1899 on the square in downtown Blairsville. Added to the Register of Historic Places in 1980, and recently restored, it's now a local history museum, cultural center, and summertime concert hall.&nbsp;

Union County Historical Society

This is Erin's absolute FAVORITE Mexican food. You will not get better nachos anywhere. They also have amazing Mexican fries and margaritas. They often have live music on the weekends.

Lucky's Taqueria & Cantina

This is a Christian-based coffee shop in Blairsville. The people are so friendly and the coffee is really good. You can take the coffee to go, or stay and listen to music.

​Odom Springs Vineyards is a family owned estate winery located in the lush rolling hills of north Georgia. For more than a century, the Odom family has owned land in the Young Cane valley. The vineyards and winery are situated on 16 acres of Odom land, most recently owned by the late Earl Odom and his wife, Gwen, now passed on to their children, Steve and Shari. The Creekside, New Ground, and Hillside vineyards are located on the nearby 60-acre farm formally, of Gordon (Papaw/Pop) and Christine (Grandmaw) Odom, known as Pop's Walk.&nbsp;

Odom Springs Vineyards

Jack "Mimm" McClure (January 25, 1914 - June 26, 1969) was an American Appalachian moonshiner and local philanthropist from Young Harris, Georgia , GA. Local stories abound in the Georgia mountains of McClure's quality bootleg spirits, his charitable giving, and his self delivered justice to those who crossed him. He is also reputed to have been behind the rise of a few notable Georgia politicians of his time.On January 25, 2012 country musician, Tommy Townsend, a grandson of McClure, announced his partnership with Georgia Distilling Company, Inc. of Milledgeville, GA to recreate and market his grandfathers original moonshine recipes legally for the first time. Dubbed "Grandaddy Mimm's Corn Whiskey", it is produced on stills designed by McClure, and built in Georgia using his secret family recipe. According to press reports, Grandaddy Mimm's line of spirits will be initially distributed in Georgia and throughout the American southeast. The stills were handcrafted by a metal fabricator in Macon, GA.Stop by and visit us, pay&nbsp;for a tour of our distillery and get a free bottle of Moonshine of your choice.

Located in the same plaza as Grandaddy Mimm's, is Pappy's Trading Post. You can look at antiques, eat ice cream and homemade fudge, or float down the river.

Located within the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests, the Brasstown Bald Visitor Information Center&nbsp;is the highest point in Georgia, rising 4,784 feet above sea level and just a short drive from Blairsville, Hiawassee, and Helen. On the Bald you’ll find picnic areas with great views; a general store with locally made products; three trailheads just off of our parking lot; a mountaintop natural science &amp; history museum, and observation deck that offers a spectacular 360° view of the surrounding area, including four states (GA, TN, NC, &amp; SC) and if you’re lucky, the skyline of Atlanta!

Brasstown Bald Visitors Center

A bustling alpine village set against a scenic backdrop of mountains, forests and river banks, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to the cobblestone streets of Germany’s famed Bamberg or Lindau as colorful shops dot the landscape and the heavenly aroma of authentic German fare takes to the breeze.
