Cute enough to get in the photo, but comfy enough to walk around a park, also known as "REI chic." ... At least bring good walking shoes so you can enjoy the views.

We highly recommend planning time in your trip to park at the end of the bridge and walk across it (look for seals!) and/or enjoy one of the many 1-4 mile hikes at the park. Our favorites are the loops at Rosario Bay (shortest) , Bowman Bay (best views) or the trail connecting the two (pretty trail).

There is a bathroom with running water near the Rosario Bay Picnic Shelter where we are having the party and up the south end of the bridge parking lot. Bowman Bay area does not.

Yes, the park requires the Discover Pass. You can get a $10 day pass from an automated machine at the parking lot at the south end of the bridge, if you don't already have the annual pass. Contact us if you are looking for someone to carpool with.
