We both went to CBU, but never had any classes together. It wasn’t until our senior year in January 2022 that we officially met—we were placed on the same team for an International Service Project (ISP).

Mason flirted. Erin had no idea. (Chai tea may have been involved.)

That summer, we served in Birmingham, England. Between team meetings, ministry work, and late-night conversations, something started to grow.

It wasn’t until a layover in Ireland—after the trip was over—that we finally admitted there might be more than just team chemistry.

One week later, we had our first date: BBQ, axe throwing, Downtown Disney, and pizookies. It lasted nearly 14 hours (Erin’s parents were slightly worried—we just didn’t want it to end!).

Three years later, on April 5, 2025, Mason proposed to the love of his life. To no one’s surprise, Erin said yes! After lots of photos, sweet conversations with friends and family, and a quick gelato stop, we headed home—engaged and thrilled.

Now, we’re stepping into marriage with joy, purpose, and a shared faith. As followers of Jesus, our greatest desire is to serve Him—and one another—with love and intentionality.

Whether we’re axe throwing, wandering into random cities, enjoying Disney days, serving our local church, or Mason pretending to enjoy Erin’s favorite coffee shop (he still doesn’t drink coffee), life is sweeter together.
