Accommodations

What hotel should we stay at?

We have a block of 30 rooms reserved at The Fairfield by Marriott close to the airport. Rooms are $140 for the night and suites are $160 for the night. You can call the hotel via the number provided below in hotel information. When booking your room let them know you are with the MacLean wedding.

What if all the rooms at the Fairfield are booked?

We have provided additional hotel information for hotels near the airport and the Fairfield below.

What time is checkin and checkout?

At the Fairfield checkin is anytime after 3 pm and checkout is anytime before noon.

Does The Fairfield have Breakfast included?

Yes, if anyone is looking for a quick hot breakfast, the Fairfield does have breakfast included.

Transportation To and From the Venue

I want to drink, how can I get back to the hotel?

We have a shuttle leaving the hotel at 2 pm and another one leaving the venue at the end of the night that will take you straight to the hotel.

What if I don’t want to wait for the shuttle?

The venue has a direct cab line that all guests are welcome to use!

Camping

For our guests that would like to stay in a trailer, there is an overflow parking lot at the venue that you may use! There is also the Devon Lion’s Campground, which is approximately 20 minutes away.

Alcohol and The Devil’s Lettuce

We will be having a toonie bar at our wedding! Tickets will be for sale once the bar is set up! Our venue DOES NOT permit the smoking of the Mary-Jane. Edibles and odourless forms of the skunk are welcome.

Gifts?

We are just happy to have you present on our special day! However, when I told my bridesmaids this, they yelled at us and told us to make a registry, so we did. Please do not feel obligated to get us anything.

Activities

What can we do in between the ceremony and reception?

We will have an assortment of games available at the venue! We will also have some small snacks available. There are some fast food restaurants around if you need food before supper at the reception!
