Sarah met Erin freshman year of college at Stetson University in the ROTC program, they quickly became good friends and ended up being roommates for a year! Throughout the years, the Army and life have kept them many miles apart but their friendship still remains so strong. Sarah has had the opportunity to watch Erin and CJ grow so much as a couple and overcome so many obstacles.

Luciana met Erin in fall of 2023 at the Catholic Student Center at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. They quickly bonded over their shared love for sports medicine and the Catholic faith. Some of Luciana’s favorite memories with Erin include catching sunsets, devouring burgers at their favorite local brewery, and talking about Jesus in dive bars and Taco Bell parking lots. In December 2024, Erin served as Luciana’s confirmation sponsor as she entered the Catholic Church. Luciana also attended Erin’s Bible study during Erin’s final year at UTC. Their friendship has grown through many phases of life, from bonding over academic pain to laughing to the point of tears. Erin has become one of Luciana’s closest friends and continues to be a huge part of her walk with God.

Hartley and Erin met during their 5th grade year at Chaires Elementary in Tallahassee, FL. The two have shared many memories and laughs throughout the years, including an epic road trip the summer of 2022 and have a shared appreciation for The Hunger Games series.

Becca is a full-time missionary with college students at Western Kentucky University. In her free time, she loves cooking, baking, dancing, playing guitar, watching movies, and reading historical fiction. 
Erin and Becca met at the Catholic Student Center at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. They immediately hit it off and bonded over shared interests. Becca liked her so much that she secretly planned to try and set Erin up with one of her co-workers; only to find out Erin had already met the love of her life.
Erin has taught her many things such as, how to shoot a hand gun, how to test for knee injuries, the backstory behind every Taylor Swift album, and how to persevere through trials. She is so honored to be a part of her big day!

Madison met Erin during their freshman year at Stetson University, and the two quickly became close friends. By senior year, Madison had the joy of often “third-wheeling” Erin and CJ’s dorm room dates, a role she happily embraced as their love story unfolded.

Nicole and Erin met on a mission trip with Stetson's Baptist Collegiate Fellowship in 2020, even when Nicole wasn't a believer yet. They didn't talk too much for the next year until they bumped into each other in the athletic training room and realized they both wanted to pursue the same career. They both worked for the Stetson Football team as sports medicine students assistants, and became fast friends after that. Erin has been a huge part of Nicole's walk with Christ since and is one of her dearest friends. The two continue to remain good friends even when living in different states during graduate school, where they both suffered in solidarity.

Kaitlyn and Erin have been friends since high school. With frequent long distance life updates and Army-isms to share, Kaitlyn has known of the love Erin and CJ have from the beginning. It has been a true blessing for Kaitlyn to witness such a beautiful union.

Alexis met Erin at BOLC for the Army, where Alexis noticed from afar she and Erin had the same unit patch! Throughout BOLC, they hung out, got to know each other and found out they have a lot in common and became close friends. Alexis and Erin frequently get to run into each other during different training events and missions for the Tennessee National Guard. One time, while they were at Fort Hood, Texas they even survived a tornado together! In that moment, they both got to step up as leaders together make sure everyone around them got to safety, and that the Army got the accountability checks it needed. The military has brought these two together in a way that has led their friendship to grow so much!

Matthew is CJ’s younger brother, and although the two argued plenty growing up, CJ was always the protective big brother when it mattered most. Matthew has always admired CJ for his confidence, outgoing personality, and ability to be unapologetically himself no matter who’s watching. Despite their differences, they’ve shared countless memories together—from nerding out and dressing up for Star Wars conventions to weekends spent cruising with the top off CJ’s Jeep or rebuilding their grandfather’s Triumph Spitfire. Matthew still remembers nervously getting in the car for the first time after CJ got his license, but these days he’s proud to ride shotgun as CJ begins his next journey with Erin, who already fits into the family perfectly.

Tim first met Erin while serving as Campus Minister at Stetson University and still remembers the day she brought CJ to meet him. As he got to know CJ, Tim quickly came to see the depth of his loyalty and the strength of his steadfast friendship. Over time, CJ became more than a friend—he became a brother. After many prayers for Erin and CJ, Tim is filled with joy to witness these two lovebirds commit their lives to one another in the beautiful sacrament of marriage.

Bryce met CJ in high school at Lake Braddock in Burke, VA. The two both competed on the Rifle team, where they bonded at early Saturday morning practices and post match activities. Bryce is honored to stand by CJ’s side as he takes his next shot... this time, at a lifetime of love and happiness.

Bryce met CJ while going through the confirmation process at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. From attending Sunday Mass to working on CJ's jeep, the two have developed a strong friendship, and Bryce has witnessed the happiness that Erin has introduced into CJ's life as they get ready for the next chapter of their lives together.

Trey and CJ have been friends since they were just 4 years old when their families met at church. From there Trey, CJ, and Matt became fast friends running around the church grounds after the service, pretending to be superheroes, and convincing their parents to let them have sleepovers whenever possible.

CJ and Chris met halfway through their freshman year through the ERAU campus EMS club. They became fast friends, classmates and coworkers. Chris had the pleasure of hearing how CJ and Erin’s relationship grew while talking at or after class.

Victor met CJ during their freshman year at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, when they both eagerly joined the Emergency Response Team. The two began teaming up for various classes, collaborating on group projects, and gradually built a foundation of respect and camaraderie. As their academic journey progressed, they both got part-time jobs on campus, working side by side in roles that allowed them to strengthen their skills and share countless moments. By senior year, their friendship had deepened significantly through these shared experiences. Throughout this, CJ often spoke of Erin with warm admiration, sharing how her presence enriched his life in ways he couldn’t fully express.
