What is the difference between a Catholic wedding and other weddings?
A Catholic wedding is more than a ceremony — it is a sacred sacrament of the Church. Because we are celebrating a full Wedding Mass, our ceremony will include Scripture readings, prayers, a homily, and the celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion), in addition to our exchange of vows. This structure highlights that marriage is a covenant with God, not just a legal or symbolic commitment, and invites our entire community to pray with and for us as we begin our life together.

What is the dress code?
Our wedding is semi-formal to formal. Since we’re celebrating a Catholic Wedding Mass, we ask guests to dress respectfully for the church — and comfortably enough to enjoy a full day of love, joy, and dancing afterward. Elegant, classic attire with a touch of fun is perfect!
What is happening the night before the wedding?
The night before the wedding, we are happy to welcome all of our guests to a Welcome Party to kick off the wedding weekend! Feel free to join us from 5-7pm for a fun, chill, evening with snacks and drinks provided at Proof Brewing Company. The bride, groom, and wedding party will only be present from 5-7pm, but you are more than welcome to stay at Proof after as the brewery is ours for the evening!
Where do you recommend flying into?
The Tallahassee International Airport (TLH) is a suitable option as well as other airports within 2 hours of driving distance like Jacksonville International Airport and Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport! Bigger airports like Atlanta and Orlando are also options but are about 4 hours driving distance away.
Are there any hotels that you recommend?
Yes! You can stay anywhere you'd like, but we will have hotel room blocks at the following:
(1) Staybridge Suites Tallahassee I-10 East by IHG
(2) Fairfield by Marriot Inn and Suites - Tallahassee Central
(3) Hampton Inn and Suites - Tallahassee Central
Are kids welcome at the wedding?
Yes! Kids are invited and encouraged to bring their best dance floor energy!
Is parking available at the ceremony and reception venues?
We are very excited to report there is more than adequate parking available at both the ceremony and reception venues.
Will there be transportation available?
Unfortunately, we are not providing transportation from airports nor are we providing transportation for guests on the wedding day. With this in mind, we ask that all guests plan transportation accordingly.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Plus-ones will be specified on RSVP tab upon entering name. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Erin directly.
What time should I arrive before the ceremony?
Our wedding mass begins at 2:30 pm and we would recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to be seated ahead of the processional beginning. This is a great time to pray before the wedding or scope out all your mutual friends!
Is there an open bar?
All beer, wine, and signature drinks will be fully provided while supplies lasts!
I have a question that wasn't answered on here?
