If coming from outside of Spain, we recommend flying into Barcelona (El Prat - airport code BCN) and taking a taxi, renting a car, or taking a train to get to Canet de Mar.
Spain currently has the following vaccine requirement: Vaccines are valid from 14 days after the last dose up to 270 days. If more than 270 days (9 months) have passed since receiving the last required dose of their COVID-19 vaccine, U.S. citizens must show proof of having received a booster shot. The booster shot certificate is valid since the day it was administered. Additionally, U.S. citizens traveling from the United States to Spain must present upon arrival in Spain a QR code generated through the Spain Travel Health portal , obtained through the website or by downloading the “SpTH app” in Google Play Store or iTunes App Store for each traveler, regardless of their age and duration of the trip, unless they have a EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC). We recommend the website as the app seems to have bugs.
When returning to the United States, there is no longer a requirement to show a negative COVID-19 viral test starting the evening of June 12th.
