Our Story

Dylan and Erin first met while at college at SUNY Oswego. The two were both studying to be broadcasting majors and met for the first time in one of their required communications courses sophomore year.

During the semester, Erin began to form a crush on Dylan, although they didn't see much of one another outside of class. It wasn't until their junior year that the two really began to connect. Eventually what started out as just getting to know one another turned into the potential for something real, and they decided to take a chance on a relationship, even though graduation was right around the corner.

They dated for the final 6 months of college and then had to take on the struggles of maintaining a long distance relationship. As the two pursued their careers, they pushed through 4 years of long distance, continuously putting the needs of each other over their relationship.

Finally after 4 years, the stars aligned and their next adventures brought them together in King of Prussia, PA where they would spend their time traveling, building a space of their own, spending time with friends and loves ones, and finally getting to enjoy being together.

On June 17th, Dylan pulled off the best surprise Erin could have ever imagined. What she thought was going to be a trip to a friends new house in Syracuse, NY, turned into this elaborate plan to ask her to marry him. They took a day trip to visit Oswego for the first time since they'd both graduated, but for what she thought was just a lunch on the water. Dylan took Erin back to the houses where they'd both lived on campus which were diagonally across from one another to reminisce on the many memories they'd shared during their time there. He stopped in front of the door to his old house and exclaimed to our friends, "this is the house where I first asked Erin to be "ma lady" so it's only fitting that this is the spot where I ask her to marry me."

And the rest is history!
