Zach and Erin grew up 25 minutes from each other and had mutual friends in High School but they never met. UNTIL... Purdue University.


It was late in the summer of 2013, they had just graduated from High School and were moving into their new chapter in life. Boiler Gold Rush (freshman move-in week) was happening and they found a hang-out area behind McCutcheon (where they both lived) and began making friends. One night, Erin was asked where she was from and she said "Osgood, IN I bet no one knows where that is" until Zach spoke up and said "I do". They went about their days, not interacting, until they met again in their classes. They were in the same major, Electrical Engineering Technology! Erin was even Zach's TA in one class! BUT Erin and Zach didn't officially meet until their Junior Year when Erin moved in with their mutual friend (now a Bridesmaid, RayAnn). They were introduced at a party and someone dared them to kiss. From there, they became "a thing" and spent many nights/days partying together until the end of Senior Year when Zach left campus and Erin graduated, ending their relationship. From there they went their separate ways, Zach moved home and Erin worked in Indianapolis then moved out to Washington State for a few years. Until the end of 2021 after Erin moved home.


One day they were on Tinder and swiped right on each other, realizing they still had each other's phone numbers and thought of each other every once in awhile. It felt like it was finally their time. Their conversations picked up like they had never stopped. So they began dating in January of 2022, becoming closer with each passing day. They already knew each other so it was easy. Erin moved in with Zach in February of 2023 with her dog Baxter. Zach proposed on May 5th of 2023 but Erin knew it was coming soon. They are fixing up their first home together to grow and give their 3 dogs the best life they can have.
