They say fate has a funny way of working, and for us, Erin and Daniel, it took a little detour! In our younger 20s hanging out at some of the same places, and then fast forwarding a few years and our paths crossing again. For years, we lived in the same charming town, probably crossed paths again countless times, and even frequented the very same spots. You never know if your future spouse was just a few feet away!

Fast forward a bit: Erin, seeking a new adventure, made the big leap and moved out of her hometown, the same town Daniel and Erin were living in for a few years now. As she settled into her new life, she decided to delete her online dating profile. But just as her finger hovered over that fateful "delete" button, a notification popped up: "It's a Match! You and Daniel."

Erin was looking through Daniel's profile and saw the bluest eyes and the kindest smile, she decided to give him a chance and not delete her profile. From that moment on (a Sunday), our conversations flowed effortlessly, by that Wednesday Daniel asked Erin on a date for that weekend. Their first date was on a Saturday in April and it was pouring raining! Erin always loving her outfits was having the hardest time finding something good for a first date on a rainy spring day. Due to this Erin had to text Daniel "On my way but will be 10 minutes late, sorry!" Erin pulled in and walked through the door and there was standing a young man in a red hoodie and she saw those blue eyes and kind smile she saw online and knew right there she met someone special. Daniel remembers seeing Erin's big brown eyes and getting lost in the eyes of the person he was falling in love with. Right away Daniel saw Erin's caring heart and positive outlook on life and said to himself "there is something different about this girl that I have never seen in another girl before". From that night on the dates were flowing, and the three hour phone calls were going (with Daniel ending each phone call with saying "Hugs and Kisses" to Erin). We both quickly knew we each found our person and started building a beautiful, loving, and supportive life together.

So, here we are, ready to say "I do!" It might have taken a dating app and a moving out of town to bring us together, but we wouldn't change a thing. Our story is a testament to perfect timing, unexpected connections, and the beautiful truth that sometimes, the love of your life has been right there all along, just waiting for the right moment to be found.
