Erin and Connor’s first date was anything but perfect. Connor went to the wrong address to pick Erin up, making them so late that the restaurant’s kitchen was closed by the time the couple arrived. After a much-needed trip to McDonald’s, Connor dropped Erin off, concluding the worst first date of all time. Much to Connor’s surprise, Erin accepted his proposal for a 2nd date, and the rest was history.

Connor swore that he would never be in a long-distance relationship. That rule was immediately broken after Erin moved to Dothan, Alabama for medical school, and Connor moved to Orlando, Florida for his master’s degree. After a few thousand miles of driving back and forth, Erin and Connor finally moved into a home together in Panama City, Florida in 2023.

Erin and Connor bonded over a love for travel, visiting places such as Greece, Curacao, and Aruba together. It was only fitting then that Connor chose to propose to Erin during a trip to New York City. Just like the first date, it was not without its problems. The weather was terrible, Erin and Connor went to the wrong spot initially, and Connor fumbled the engagement speech (he promises his wedding speech will make up for it). Again, to Connor’s surprise, Erin said yes, and the wedding was on.
