The Ceremony will begin at 4:00pm on Friday, Nov. 15th at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills. Followed by our Cocktail Hour and Wedding Reception, which will end at 10:00pm.

Yes! We will be providing transportation from the Inn at Middletown to and from the wedding venue. The first bus will depart to the venue at 3:15. The second bus will depart to the venue at 3:30 sharp. We will have a bus returning guests to The Inn at Middletown and another bus bringing guests directly to Sicily Coal Fire Pizza for our after party following the end of the Reception around 10:00pm

Yes! The Barns is about a 10 minute drive from The Inn at Middletown and has available parking. You are able to leave your vehicle overnight if you decide to drive yourself and then take our complimentary transportation home. There are also a lot of Ubers available in this area.

Our Wedding dress code is Black Tie Optional. Men are requested to wear a tuxedo, but can opt for a dark suit. Women can choose either a gown, a cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

We love the little ones, but we are having a child-free wedding.

We plan to host our beautiful ceremony outside if the weather permits. However, the cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors. Please note the ceremony will be on grass, so ladies wear appropriate shoes!

YES! We have rented the top bar at Sicily Coal Fired Pizza in Middletown. The happy couple has organized pizza & snacks to be provided. There will also be a full cash bar available. Most importantly, the party will continue with a live band! We will have one bus bringing guest directly from The Barns to Sicily following the end of our reception.

We will not be providing additional transportation to the After Party, but luckily it is an 8 minute walk from The Inn at Middletown to Sicily Coal Fired Pizza. You exit the hotel and take a right and keep going until you hear the party. You also have the option to Uber! Please see map below:

The Bride and Groom plan to still be dressed to impress, but we invite our guests to stay in their wedding attire or change into something more comfortable. All that we ask is you bring your dancing shoes, because the dancing WILL continue with our live band!

Yes, we have reserved a block of rooms at The Inn at Middletown. Please use the code: "SaundersClayton" to receive our special rate. Please be aware that the standard check-in time is 3:00 and our last bus will leave at 3:30. Please request an early check-in or come dressed and ready if you plan to take the provided transportation. Please note the standard check-in time is 3:00pm and our complimentary transportation will be departing between 3:15-3:30pm. Please plan accordingly to make sure you don't miss your ride!

For those traveling from out of town, we recommend that you fly into Bradley International Airport. The airport is about 30 minutes away from the hotel.
