We are so blessed and thankful that many of our family and friends will be flying in from near and far (and literally across the world) for our big day! For example, we have guests coming from New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, North Carolina, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Colorado, Utah, Missouri, Florida, California, Georgia, Michigan, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, Louisiana, Oregon .... and JAPAN! Think of all the airline miles!

But here's the million-dollar question: Which airport should you fly into?

Fear not, dear guests - Evan and Erin have you covered. After five years of long-distance as graduate students, we are "in-the-know" when it comes to finding the best flights at the best prices. Here are your options, along with some pros and cons you might want to think about when making your decision.

Option One: Trenton Airport (TTN)

Distance: About 15 miles from our hotels, so around 20 minutes of driving without traffic

Pros:

• If booked early, flights can be amazingly cheap on Frontier Airlines
• Super close! Very convenient for a weekend wedding trip!
• Potentially a GREAT option for those traveling from Minnesota, Chicago, and Atlanta. Frontier flies direct from all of these cities.

Cons:

• Limited Service. Frontier Airlines is the ONLY airline that flies into Trenton. So, depending on where you are flying from, this might not be an option for you.
• Usually only one flight per day, so Trenton will not be a great option for people with strict time constraints
• Rental Car Options are somewhat limited (Enterprise and National do offer service). However, depending on your plans, you may be able to take a taxi to and from the hotel. We will provide shuttle service to and from the reception. But you will still need to find transportation to and from the ceremony.
• The airport is dinky - but it gets the job done.

Option Two: Newark Airport (EWR)

Distance: About 45 miles from our hotels, so around 50 minutes of driving without traffic

Pros:

• Lots of flight options at all times of day
• Lots of rental car options
• Great option for those who might want to take a trip to New York before or after the wedding

Cons:

• Traffic, always traffic
• You will have to take a toll-road to get to the wedding hotels

Option Three: Philadelphia Airport (PHL)

Distance: About 40 miles from our hotels, so around 45 minutes of driving without traffic

Pros:

• Lots of flight options at all times of day
• Lots of rental car options

Cons:

• Flights to Philadelphia tend to be a bit more expensive than flights to Newark

Option Four: Atlantic City Airport (ACY)

Distance: About 85 miles from our hotels, so around 90 minutes of driving without traffic

Pros:

• If booked early, flights can be cheap on Spirit Airlines
• Great option for any gamblers or for those who might want to take a trip to the Jersey shore before or after the wedding.

Cons:

• Limited Service. Spirit Airlines and Air Canada are the ONLY airlines that fly into Atlantic City. So, depending on where you are flying from, this might not be an option for you.
• Furthest airport from the wedding festivities.
