We would love to see our friends and family get fancy for our big day! The dress code for our wedding is formal black tie. This dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if wanted! If opting for a suit, however, a formal dark suit and a tie are acceptable. Ladies, formal evening gown, formal knee to floor length dresses are preferred.

We will be providing transportation from the BlueBird hotel for the entire day of events starting an hour before ceremony. However, those that do not stay at the hotel or feel more comfortable driving there is ample parking at the venue. The bus will take guests from the hotel, to the reception, to the after party, to hotel and then do a loop from after party and hotel to end the night.

Since we have huge immediate and extended families, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list, and we hope you understand. However, kids are welcome all weekend at our Welcome Event and Farewell Beach Day. If you are going to be in need of a babysitter please reach out to Erin, Martha Lawlor, or Sue Sullivan so we can connect you with a lovely trusted sitter for the night of the wedding!

Since we have huge immediate and extended families, we’ve specified on our invitations the person(s) invited. If you are still unsure, you can type your name into our RSVP section of our website and it will specify invited guests, or contact Erin or Chris. Please do not bring a guest if it was not on your invitation.
