Allison has been an amazing friend since freshman year in high school. We ran cross country together and began a friendship that would last through all the up and downs of life despite living in different cities most of the time. Some of my most memorable trips with her were to humid San Antonio right before we started college, Singapore to visit my family when they lived overseas, visiting her in sunny San Diego, the adventurous New Year Eve we spent in LA, the Red Mountain girls trip we took with our moms, and the New Years Eve we spent in Bend when we were both still eligible bachelorettes.
Ana - Bridesmaid
Ana came into my life when my brother told us he was bringing a special someone to our family vacation in Bend, OR. It was so unlike my brother to even talk about a special someone so I knew from the very start that she would be amazing. Sure enough she is kind, thoughtful, fun-loving, and fits in perfectly with our family. A little more than a year later she became my sister-in-law and I couldn’t be happier to have her as a friend and sister.
Delaney - Bridesmaid
Delaney and I both did our dietetic internship together at Saint Louis University in St. Louis. We both stayed on to get our masters degree and really bonded through our work as graduate assistants (and that not so interesting Research Methods class 😜). Life would reunite us shortly after I moved to Bentonville, AR and Delaney moved to Tulsa, OK (only a 2 hour drive apart). We took turns visiting one another on weekends and explored our new towns together - yoga classes, coffee shops, and rooftop bars. Being active and running have always been hobbies we enjoy doing together. I have many fond memories of triathlons, 5ks, 15ks, and marathons run together.
Abby - Bridesmaids
Abby and I also met during our dietetic internship. Our friendship really began to flourish in the years after when we were both living and working in St. Louis. Abby and I share a love for travel and the outdoors. She is always up for an adventure. One of my favorite trips with her was our trip to Oregon exploring the coast, dipping our toes in the bluest and coldest of natural pools, and chasing waterfalls in Bend. Late night salsa dancing and camping (with Jess!) are other memories that make me smile.
Russ - Best Man
I met Russ our Junior year of highschool. Russ let me stay with him while I was going through some rough times. He introduced me to biking and let me tag along on many of the hikes he went on. He also introduced me to the rest of my groomsmen. I appreciate how dependable and supportive he is.
Doug - Groomsman
I started hanging out with Doug just after highschool. We were roommates for a bit. He's been there to pick me up when I've been down, literally and figuratively. I appreciate his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his family.
Albert - Groomsman
I started hanging out with Al just after highschool. Standup guy. I appreciate how he's positive, supportive, and always willing to lend a hand.
Brendon - Groomsman
I started hanging out with Brendon after highschool. He was my first roommate, and I learned a lot with that experience. I appreciate his independence and conviction.
